I was thinking about giving this review 4 stars because I am disappointed about the fact that you are unable to buy the Mir Pro+ vest on Amazon from Mir. From looking at their site there is only a difference in $10 between them. I was aware of the fact before I purchased this one from Amazon, however most of the purchase of this vest was paid with Amazon gift cards. The Mir Pro vest is able to hold a maximum amount of weight of 90lbs, but for another $10 you can get the Mir Pro+ vest which is able to hold up to 140lbs. Unfortunately, Mir did not afford me the opportunity to purchase their Mir Pro+ vest. For most people a maximum of 90lbs would be more than they would be able to carry, but I am not most people and use this type of product 4+ times a week. The Mir Pro vest is a great vest for anyone looking to take their workout to the next level. It is made of quality materials and has a lifetime warranty on the vest and I don't see it ever falling apart. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that loves working out and would use it often. I use it while lifting weights, hiking, jogging, and playing basketball. It will make your legs stronger and you will be able to sprint faster. I hiked 8 miles with this vest and got a nice workout.

After training with someone wearing a weighted vest, I decided to get one myself. It really did only take 3 days from ordering to show up at my front door. I opened up the packages and immediately put it to use. The construction seems solid, and I verified this by killing myself with some burpees while wearing it (not all full weight; I'm still a wuss). It's sturdy and stays put, so from walking to running to calisthenics to light sparring, it's been a good addition to my conditioning routines.

There was a slight smell, probably from the nylon, when I first pulled out the vest, but after an hour or so of walking around with it outside, it dissipated. The reflective stripe on the back is a nice touch, but I wish these things came in colors other than black. I feel like I'm wearing a flak jacket or explosive vest when I'm in the neighborhood. :)

I'd definitely recommend it; I see this lasting a while.

I walk and run for a couple miles daily, and before the MIR I carried a weighted back pack. What a difference the MIR made! The balance is fantastic, you can run comfortably with snug fit and minimal bounce. For winter work outdoors, it's a great layer of warmth. Super product. Key tip: adjust the shoulder straps with the vest on. You'll need someone to help you, but it's important for the weight and pressure to be evenly distributed. Most of us have one shoulder high than the other, and it's easier and more accurate to make the adjustments with the vest on.

I am female and I don't like the way it sits on my chest, it looks as if the female versions do not hold as much weight though. Also sits to far above the hip even with adjustment.

if you are looking to take your workouts to the next level look no further. this product is excellent! it is well made and very durable. I usually have 24lbs of weight it there and to be honest, it feels like it can take more that 50lbs. It is a very solid product and if you are into body weight exercises like p90x, it is really a fantastic addition.

The design fits his frame very well. He is about 5'8" with super wide shoulder. I was scared the waist would cinch down to to his 32" waist but it does. Weights are simple to get in and out. He wipes it down every time he uses it and it still smells fresh. Great product.

I spent countless hours looking at a number of different weight vests online. In reading all of the reviews for other vests, it seems you really get what you pay for. The MiR Pro Adjustable Weighted Vest has three rows of five weight pockets on the front and back, which should potentially hold 90 lbs worth of their 3 lb weights. Having the additional pockets empty allows for storage of keys, snacks, and cell phones. I purchased the vest with 50 lbs of weights, which are 20 individual weights that look like black bars of soap. They fit snugly in each pocket. The velcro flap that covers each row makes it impossible for the weights to shift or slide out. The two adjustable velcro buckle straps are good at keeping the vest from bouncing up and down too much or pulling away from your chest if doing push-ups, burpees, or similar exercises. One size fits all is true. The front and back sections are separate and the length between the back weights and the front weights is adjustable with wide strips of velcro that can be locked in place with the two D-rings and additional velcro straps. The buckle straps can be adjusted super short to super long. The only issue I have is that when I'm running the vest rubs on my collarbone. I don't see how this could be avoided.

Well made and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I've seen some of the other weighted vests available and this one surpasses them in quality. Reputable seller, quick delivery. I'm satisfied!
