I thought that miShare was an answer to my problems but beware! After trying to transfer just one playlist all the music on the target iPod was erased! Over 1,000 songs gone! And it had to be formatted again each time I tried! I e-mailed miShare and 4 days later I haven't received a response. Believe me it's going back!

Well the people from miShare called today and I have to say they were very helpful. I worked with the tech for about an hour and while he wasn't able to solve the problem on the phone he was very thorough and eager to find the source of the problem. I'm sending it back to them so that they can check it out. They are sending me a new one so I'll update this review when I receive the new miShare.

So easy to use, just select a song or album to transfer by holding down the center button on the ipod until the title flashes. The title will then go into a file called "on the go". Turn on the miShare, connect the ipod that has the title to share on it to the left side of the miShare. Connect receiving ipod to the right side of the miShare. Wait for the 3 lights to turn green and press the center button once. Wait till it flashes or blinks and for the ipods to say OK to disconnect. The transfered title will be in a file called miShare playlist. Done!

I am however still working on getting it ot transfer movies hence the 4 stars. Maybe it's just me.

This thing works perfectly! I gave my friend all my photos after our vacation, and it was seamless! Thank you, thank you, thank yoU!

Great concept, but I could not get it to transfer music from one iPod to another iPod. The included operating instructions were not helpful. I returned the product for a refund.

If you have IPOD owners in your house and you want to increase their popularity buy them one of these. If you buy one for yourself you may never see it again. Great product.

Allows you to transfer anything on your iPod onto any other iPod. Super-reliable, easy to use and... why didn't someone come up with this before?!!

This product has worked fine for me to download songs. I haven't tried the videos or photos option. It will not transfer audiobooks and most importantly it will not work with iTouch or iPhone. This leaves a lot of people out unfortunately. I suggest maybe trying sharepod.com for those devices. miShare claims to be working on a update that will make the device compatible with iTouch or iPhone, but who knows will that will be.

Doesn't work...have had several "experts" try to get this to work - no luck, it's a dud. If anyone knows the trick to get it to work, let me know.

I ordered this for use with family. THIS ITEM DOES NOT WORK. I tried using the information included with the item. Then, I went to the website to follow their suggestions. I accessed every customer request for support. Followed every step suggested. This sytem is not compatible with all ipods and this information is not noted anywhere. I only succeeded in causing damage to files located on the target iPod. Fortunately, all files were available on a pc. This sounds like a fun item, however, it is not. I am not computer challenged, and do follow installation and use guidelines. THIS ITEM DOES NOT WORK. DO NOT ORDER IT.

If you intend to order and want to give it as a gift, remember the return policy of 30 days. I am stuck with this piece of jumk because J&D Music will accept a return, tho the item does not work. This was a gift purchase, so it was not opened and used until 45 days after purchase.
