Good Morning,

This review came at the perfect time. I recently purchased a lamp for my television. I replaced it on July 3rd. and at first I was very happy until this weekend on July 23rd, when the lamp burned out. I was disappointed that the lamp only lasted 20 days. These lamps are costly and I am reluctant to purchase another lamp in fear that it will only last 20 days each time. Is there a life expectancy for these lamps or some kind of guarantee? If you could please look into this and let me know as soon as possible, I would really appreciate it.

The lamp is high quality and works well. However, if this is the second or third time you are replacing it, consider buying the complete housing as well. Heat from the lamp tends to make the housing brittle over time and the small locking clips break easily. Also make sure you clean the screen if you don't replace the housing. Otherwise it may overheat, shortening the life of the lamp.

I can't believe I fell for it! It says bulb manufacturer: Osram. The bulb I received is NOT an OSRAM!! I guess you get what you pay for...I just wish these companies would specify that these are not OEM lamps. Can anyone say "false advertising".
