Designed after traditional French wooden spoons, these two stirring spoons include a 15-inch length for plunging into deep pots of soup or stew and a 12-inch length for stirring shallower dishes. The spoons are made of food-grade high-density nylon, which is safe for use in temperatures up to 430 degrees Fahrenheit. These spoons have smooth edges that won’t mark up stainless-steel or nonstick-coated pans. The nylon material is nonporous so spoons won’t show stains when used to stir curry dishes or tomato sauces. I bought these because of the price. When I received them, I was shocked at how sturdy the are! I was expecting them to be extremely flimsy and cheap. But this is one instance where I can say, I got more than I paid for! The material they are made from is very thick. The shorter spoon is perfect for anytime use, the longer spoon is longer than I expected but it is perfect to use when making sauces. I have no complaints and am very happy that I bought them.

Liked the first set so much that after we moved and I came up one spoon short.....I immediately went to Amazon and purchased another set...won't be without them, versitle, can use with all my pots and pans.....cast iron, Le Creuset and teflon coated.
