Each warmer comes with two cups, a large one for the butter, and a smaller one for the candle. The cups rest in a two-level steel stand with curved legs that end in ball finials. The stand holds the butter cup about 6 inches up from the table surface, and the candle is underneath, providing not only heat but also a flicker of romance.
All three permanent parts of the butter warmer are dishwasher-safe. Each warmer measures 3-1/2 inches in diameter by 6 inches tall. Each candle cup accommodates one 1-1/2 diameter votive candle. Four candles are included in the packaged set. --Garland Withers

This review is from: MIU France Set of 4 Stainless Steel Butter Warmers with Tea Lights (Kitchen)
Butter warmers are advertised as stainless steel but when they arrived, a quick inspection proved that all items were made of cheap steel that had a bad chrome plating job. Nothing was made from stainless steel that was included in the package. Package just arrived but do not expect the set to last past a couple of dishwashings before everything starts to rust. Very disappointed, would not reccomend to anyone.

If you don't care about show, these industrial looking butter warmers are great. Slight problem is the flame may be a little too close to the bowls, so fill bowls well, a little instead of a lot will turn your butter to ghee.
