The Blessing ML1S is a terrific trumpet for the price. I've had mine for over seven years. The valve action is wonderful and it blends well with other professional instruments in band and in ensembles. I have also purchased a Blessing light weight ML1S Trumpet for my daughter and a Blessing Artist series B88 trombone for my son and they are also pleased with them. In my opinion it's a waste of money to buy or lease a student model trumpet for a middle or high school player when the Blessing ML1 is available for around $600.
