I received this game as a gift for my PSP and at first I thought it had some potential. The pitching dynamics were not all that bad. When I got to batting it was nearly impossible to hit the ball, there is absolutely no way to time your swing. The graphics were not all that great, very choppy and no fluidity to player motions at all whether you are batting/fielding or pitching. Even the ace pitchers and batters lacked any personalization to their real life swing/pitch stances/deliveries. I was a huge fan of MVP 2005 and why 2K took the franchise over and made it this bad is beyond me, it cannot be a good business strategy. I had to return the game because it was so unplayable. DO NOT BUY IT FOR PSP (I can only talk about PSP since I played it only on this console). The catch is MLB The Show 10 for PSP is far superior game in every aspect and slightly more money and really does the baseball franchise justice. The Show is probably the closest I have come to my personal favorite MVP 2005. EA needs to take this circus over from 2K. In closing I gave it two stars instead of 1 because it did not crash and it did work as intended, too bad their intent was not to sell games.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! MLB 2K10 really derailed this time. 2K10 Sports studio is probably trying to cut costs and corners. Hint: 2KChina team. Overall the game feels weak, rigid, and artificial. Even Pacman is better than this game. TOTAL WASTE of MONEY! Get MLB10 The Show. It is WAY better!

Got this game about a week ago. Usually play the mlb the show games but thought I'd give this series a try, BIG MISTAKE!! Hitting is nearly impossible, fielding is all over the place and don't get me started on the pitching. DO NOT BUY!! Try Mlb:The show 10 instaed.

This game sucks, Its not you Amazon, its 2K, or whatever there called....Its not easy at all....You cant get a lineup, they always have it at a default lineup...and when you are pitching, and the other team has men on base, the ball no matter what, when it is pitched ALWAYS goes back to the backstop, and of course the runner advances....i emailed them twice and they took over a week to come back to you, but they gave me no help at all.....THIS GAME SUCKS....

I bought this for my boyfriend at Christmas time. He hasn't stopped using it and it's been 8 months. Would definitely recommend!
