Slugfest 2006,

Obviously the previous reviewer has never played Slugfest before, this is how it has always been a "street" style baseball game, including more mature / aggressive themes, the ability to attack other players, and urban-styled in-game commentary. Amazon's description should have eluded to the fact that this is NOT a REALISTIC Baseball game.
I enjoy beaning hitters and wondering if they will storm the mound, I actually find it hilarious, I haven't used the season mode, just exhibition games. All in all Slugfest delievers what we have come to expect from this gaming series.

This game is funny while still retaining to sports. I like the on fire and punching tags. The only thing stopping it from being a five star is the throws. The center fielder can throw home without a bounce.

If you want a great slugfest game, stick with the '04 version.
If you are a fan of roster collecting, there's nothing inherently wrong with this game. |
