The 5-Piece MLCS 8810 Flush and Pattern Trim Router Bit Set is 2-flute and carbide-tipped with totally enclosed ball bearing guides. Flush trim bits are for trimming laminates and pattern routing. Pattern and flush trim bits with top mounted bearing are ideal for template routing. In addition to template routing, pattern and flush trim bits are convenient for flush trimming in many applications where a bottom mounted bearing is not practical. Includes 1/2-Inch large diameter pattern and flush trim bit with 1/4-Inch shank, 3/4-Inch LD pattern and flush with 1/2-Inch shank and three 1/2-Inch shank, 1/2-Inch LD flush trim bits (1-3/16-Inch, 1-5/8-Inch and 2-Inch cutting length)

This is a nice and versatile set for flush triming or pattern work. It would have been nice if there had been one with a spiral or angle shear bit in the set, however for most jobs this set is more than adequate. Each bit is shipped in its own plastic pouch, it's not a boxed set. For me that's not much of a problem as I store my bits in the bit storage trays of a Norm Abram router table. Actually the pouches are handy when I have to put a set together to go to a job site as I tend to pull out a set of appropriate bits and put them in a bucket or a tool box so I pull out the empty pouches and put the required bits into the pouches to protect them. The bearings did not scorch the projects I was working on and the cuts were adequately smooth. It was a good purchase for me as I do a lot of flush trimming.

not a lot of $ for a great set of bits! got them fast and they work just as good as bits costing three times as much. im impressed. and u will be too.

What more can I say about these than I have already said about MLCS bits? I am very pleased with MLCS products and their customer support. No these aren't Amana, or Whiteside bits, and probably won't last 10 years in a production cabinet shop, but for a home woodworking hobbyist, I fully expect these to last a lifetime for me.
