Two things make me like this key cabinet.

1) it easily stores 'bulky' keys or keyrings with lots of keys on them no problem due to the depth of the cabinet.

2) a combination lock. lots of other cabinets have a *key* to lock the cabinet. Hopefully I'm not the only one that finds that a little stupid..

I love this cabinet. I finally have all my keys in one place and they are all labeled. No more mystery keys laying around. :)

The key box is what I wanted. Security isn't the primary concern but organization is. I woudn't consider it all that secure as the metal is rather thin and could be pried open easily. Overall I am pleased.

I agree with the other reviews--keys are organized, reasonably secure, it makes sense to have a combination lock, etc. I anticipated that the tumblers on the lock might be hard to read because my neighbor had the same setup on a doorknob box where he kept his house key. I bought the cabinet anyway because I didn't want another key, hoping that the tumblers might be different. Wrong--they're the same. I don't have perfect vision, but I'm not blind either. I think many people will have a hard time deciphering the numbers on the tumblers. Everything else about the product is good, so why not more readable tumblers? If you buy this item, be sure you have a lighted magnifying glass on hand.

Arrived within a few days of ordering, no extra padding, but it was in great shape because of hardy box. It hung easily (but did not come with screws for hanging). It fits about 15 sets of keys on their individual rings, and I have plenty of spaces for more. I did not use the simple plastic key rings that came with the box, but I had not planned to when I ordered it. The dial 3-digit # lock works great. Be sure to hang where you have easy visual access of these numbers. My original planned location would have had me craning my neck hard to actually see the little digits. But I love where it is and it works exactly as planned. Love that I don't have unidentified extra sets of keys all over my house anymore! If my husband had ever needed any of them, he would have had no clue where any of them were. Now we both know where all extra keys are.

This product fit my needs perfectly. It was the right size, held more than enough keys, separation of keys was excellent and the case was very sturdy. The case had a lock and key and came with plenty of key ID tags. It was easy to install. I would recommend this product.

We have a ton of keys at our office and so I needed something that everyone on staff could access without me needing to carry around all the keys. This cabinet comes with tags for all the keys, has easy instructions for setting the combination, and installed quickly on our wall. The only downside so far is that the handle tends to come loose all the time and I find myself screwing it on tighter every few times the box is opened. Other than that, though, I'm very happy with the cabinet.

Bought one several years ago for our construction office. Needed another,so bought the same thing again. Very efficient.
