Shawn Doyle and Lauren Anderson have written a book using the stories of everyday common people. I like this approach. Usually we read about famous people vicariously and gather what we can about improving our own lives. This book is unique, in that the character traits and keys to success are brought out in the lives of everyday people. There are alot of notes highlighted at the end of each chapter. It's great for meditation and discussion.

Read about the people who call the car dealership and will only bring their car in for servicing if their favorite service manager is working that day. Victor Wernay, (A.K.A. Chiliman) tells us : "It was never about hotdogs. It was always about becoming a legend." He acknowledged the people waiting in the back of his line to be served and they gladly waited for someone who was showing an interest in them. Read about the man who once hired Vern Oscarson, and is now working for him. Friendships and respect pay off. Read about Steven Rowell, who dialed CEO's of major companies from his college dorm room and would ask the administrative secretary who answered the phone if he could have just 5 minutes to ask the CEO the secrets to his success. Sometimes he ended up listening for an hour or more. These are just some of the many stories included in this book. Hope you are blessed by these brief nuggets.

I think we all know what it's like to feel dejected, unworthy and just plain lost in life. When we find ourselves in that place it is up to us to look for ways to snap out of it, and realize the abilities that we have been given. That is were a book like MO! comes in handy. Written by Shawn Doyle and Lauren Anderson we are able to see examples of "Everyday Heroes who live with MOmentum, MOtivation and MOxie. The book helps us to see that inspiration is not something that is just for a certain type of person or someone who lives in a certain area. Regardless of where we're from we are able to make something out of our lives and show others how they can do the same.

When you read the individual stories you can't help but look for ways that you can make a difference wherever you are, and what it takes to live life with MO. You are able to see the importance of living up to your full potential, not allowing the challenges of life stop you and realize that greatness is something that your Creator wants for you.

This book is about more than just self-help. It is full of tidbits that we can go back and forth discussing, including the realization that we can be not just a light in this world for others and they can help us as we try to take our lives to the next level.

If you are looking forward that is sure to keep you engage and inspire you, then MO! is the kind of book you will want to add to your reading list and share with a friend.
