I have been making and selling Decoden Phone Cases for months now, and decided to give this product a try. Do NOT use on a cell phone case! The collage clay "frosting" is pretty thin and airy, like "cool whip", and anyone with even minimal knowledge on how Decoden works, knows that you need "frosting" of a thick consistency to no only hold up over time, wear and tear, but to hold the cabochons (decorations) in place. The real looking "whip work" I was able to achieve on my case when using the collage clay, all but evaporated to nothingness once I started adding my decorations/cabochons to the case. My phone case ended up looking OK, ONLY because of the actual theme/cabochons used on the case itself, the Modge Podge Collage Clay looks quiet horrible. After 2 days of having left it alone to dry out, I pressed down ( like I said, I make and sell decoden cases, and this is how we make sure everything is being held down correctly ) on a cabochon, and it SUNK!

Needless to say, while I am very careful with my phone cases ( I have only dropped a cellphone once, in all the years I have owned a cell phone ) the one I made with Modge Podge Collage Clay, may hold out, but I have my doubts. Time will tell.

The bag is pretty square an bulky, which makes getting a good grip to do pretty whip work, really hard and awkward, the one thing I will give them credit for, is the ability to close up the bag, and the variety of decoration tips it comes with is OK.

As far as this product goes, if you do miniature food, doll house decorations, it will work pretty good.

I have been making decoden cell phone cases (and using them) for about a year. I personally use the Mod Podge over the Whipple (which required so much kneading that my poor joints felt like they got arthritis) and that horrible stuff Hobby Lobby sells without caps, and am extremely satisfied with this product. I have no clue why people think it's watery and sinks, it has never done that on my cases. And unlike other users, I drop my phone CONSTANTLY - not only do all the decoden stay in place (nothing has broken off at all!), but the phone is safe and protected, too. I highly recommend this product!

I like this product better than whipple. I make little decoden boxes with it and it is less thick and easier to get it to do what you want. It flows more steadily from the tube, which is bigger than the whipple tube (meaning there's more of it). Decoden is always messy, in my opinion, so that's to be expected. Also it comes with the tips, unlike whipple.

While this stuff is lightweight and much easier to use than the silicone usually used with decoden, it is incredibly weak and hard to completely dry out. I made several 6-puff lines to try this stuff out. It took only a couple of hours for the outside of the lines to harden. But, the inside was still soft and malleable 5 days after being left out in the air to dry. They are also easily broken, if moved during this ongoing drying process. I used the rest of the package to cover a small wooden box (the lid, not the whole box) to test the ability of collage clay to hold charms. Let's just say, it doesn't. The collage clay will take a charm nicely, resembling icing. But it acts like icing in its ability to keep that hold. Any bump or slight pull on the charm and it comes off like it wasn't even attached. I think this has to do with the product's inability to dry inside.

End results: Good for small hands, beginners learning decoden techniques. But not for the serious, or for those that actually want to use the items they create.

Nearly impossible to use. Difficult to squeeze out, doesn't stick when you actually manage to. find something else.
