This review is from: MORE SAUCY STORIES FROM PAT COOPER (Vinyl)
Brooklyn-born Pasquale Caputo is a two-time high school dropout and 6th generation mason who laid jokes on strip club audiences at night when not laying bricks by day. After a successful 1953 guest spot on The Jackie Gleason Show, Pat moved up to the big time, playing the first rank club circuit as opener for all the major stars of the day (Sinatra, Bennett, Franchi, Darin, et.al.). In 1965, he recorded OUR HERO, his first LP for UNITED ARTISTS. Three more albums followed at the rate of one a year, all to much acclaim among his Italian-American fan base.

Original pressings of Pat's final UA album, MORE SAUCY STORIES FROM... (UAS 6690) are on their magenta and orange label. Recorded at Frank Palumbo's self-named South Philly restaurant in 1968.
