I enjoyed all the projects in this book. They really helped stimulate the imagination and showcase the different approaches and techniques to create interesting art with Photoshop. Most of the authors provide a fairly step by step approach, but not overly detailed. You should already have some decent Photoshop skills to be able to do these projects well.

You can download some of the source images used in the projects, but they are of too small a file size to be of real use in trying the examples yourself (hence the 4 stars). I definitely recommend this book if you are in a rut with your art and want to start thinking outside of the box.

This book builds on the first volume, including more in-depth tutorials, So generally it's the same idea BUT with defferent examples.

It's a good one BUT not new

I just got the book and I can't wait to try many of the projects. The greatest difficulty is on deciding which one I want to try first; they're all soooo cool! The instructions are detailed enough that I feel I will be successful. I'm going to try some of these projects for my intermediate photo imaging class. After that, the sky is the limit! It's a MUST HAVE book for digital artists who enjoy surrealistic art!
