I had the good fortune to acquire a Mosin-Nagant M44 Carbine. Unfortuneatly, the Cleaning Rod was missing. I went to several Gun Sites to try to acquire a cleaning rod, but to no avail until I tried Amazon. I was able to find the M44 cleaning rod I needed at a very reasonable price. When I received same, it appeared to be brand new and fit the Carbine perfectly. I now have a 1946 Mosin-Nagant M44 Carbine that is complete and ready to use.

I had somehow lost a cleaning rod from one of my M-44's. I found this one at a good price and picked it up as I didn't want the blank space. It seemed to be a little bit longer than the original rod though. It sticks out a bit farther on the rifle than I would like, but it beats not having one. Because of the length, I rated it "Just OK", although I do lean a little bit towards "I don't like it". I suspect if I ordered another though, it might even be a different length.

I have a Mosin Nagant M44 that was missing the cleaning rod. This proved to be a very hard item to find. The price was either to high or the condition was an issue. I found one here for $12.95 that was shipping included. It came within a couple of days, and fit perfectly. I could not ask for more, nice work people!!!!
