5.0 out of 5 stars Positively Texas!, August 22, 2001

A pleasant surprise indeed! After seeing it mentioned through Living Blues magazine I requested a copy and was surprised by the diversity of music on one cd. A little Funk "Little black dress", "Let me pump your gas", Rock-Blues "Big Legged Mama" and deep feeling Blues "Tears on my guitar", "Leaving Paradise (goodbye, Louisiana)". Even though the title of the song "My baby don't wear no panties" attracted me to the cd, the rest of the music won me over! Play him often on The Crazy Coyote Blues and Jazz Power Show 1490 KOTY in southcentral Wa. state.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can Rawnchy be Playful? Yep!, August 17, 2001

A little rawnchy humor, added to some rocking blues will keep a smile on your face throughout this fun cd. It's a good one for a road trip or to get you out of the "blues" while hanging out at home. You can't listen to these tunes without moving somethin. Even the slow burning "Tears on my Guitar" will find you swaying side to side. IF you like some lighthearted lyrics mixed with a guitar and a voice that suit these original tunes you'll be wanting to hear more from this talented Texan.

5.0 out of 5 stars Texas Blues Power!, May 24, 2001

This is a highly energetic recording from Houston Texas which deserves a listen. This Texas blues band plays in the style of early ZZ Top with vocals slightly reminiscent of Johnny Winters.

If you like your blues gritty and rockin' check this out. I am on my third copy as the first two mysteriously disappeared, it's that good.

I seen this band while i was getting f**ked up at the easyriders bar in houston. a definate must see band. if you ever get a chance to see them, they are great. if you are unable to see them, buy the cd. ( actually, buy the cd anyway ) they are a 3 person band but they can really dish out the blues. you will not be disappointed. enjoy!!!!
