I bought four of these strips, they work really good. I installed three of them on my car to enhance the factory dome light, which I also changed to a white bulb, and the interior lighting is now awesome, a very cool and bright white. Only thing I found strange was that out the 4 strips, 2 are bright white and 2 are a little on the yellow side, still white but not as whiter as the other 2.

I bought them for my motorcycle... works and looks good.. I placed them on the back to light up my plates... only thing is, is they dont last... been through 2 strips in the last 4 months... not sure why... they are supposed to be water proof.. and look like they are... maybe they are getting hit with little rocks being in the back of the bike, under the tail.... thats why I give it a 3 star... just ordered another 3 strips for back up.. I hope they start lasting or Ill re review them and lower the rating to 1 star...lol They are bright as hell though... love the look at night... might try them out for my plate on my car...lol

after a week after installation of product on my car. the LEDs starts to flicker when i turn it on. When i under my dash. i noticed taht only two LEDs remained. the other ones burnt. i emailed for a replacement. havent gotten a reply back. it has been a week. i wouldnt get it.

I bought these to use as cab and bed-lights for my UTV, although I can see how these can be used for many other applications. The light they provide should be near what a 15-20w bulb would do at a fraction of the power consumption of incandescent (which was paramount for my application). I said I used these as a dome light, but bare in mind, they will awash the area with scattered light because they have no frame or reflector. I mounted them in my cab behind me so the glare would not be blinding, they are that bright in total darkness. I used 3 banks to illuminate my UTV dump-bed and one in the cab. They work brilliantly and are more than enough light for that application. The construction seems to be a very flexible silicone rubber based injected molding. Although it doesn't say it, it does hold up to a hose wash down and rain, so I will declare them waterproof albeit prematurely. I mounted these easily with zip ties. They can also be flexed into any shape other than straight if you need to, they are that flexible. Great application for these is places like a glove compartment, foot-well...etc. They come with instructions so heed what they say. Remember, these are LEDs and they need correct polarity for the diode to bias as designed. If you reverse bias them they will not turn on.

I bought two of these to experiment with LED running lights on my car. They worked perfectly and the flexibility made installing them soo easy, i'm ordering two more right now!

Bought two of these to use in my car's hatch area(trunk.) The trunk area of my car was very poorly lit by a single bulb only on the one side of the trunk. These were very easy to wire up by cutting the wire that used to power the old light. Set one up on each side of the trunk. They illuminate the space very well in a nice, bright clean white. My only complaints would be the length of the attached cord was not long enough for my needs, had to lengthen them but that was only so I could hide the cords for my needs. Also, would have been nice if they came with some sort of adhesive attached to the backs, had to use a few drops of super glue to mount them out of sight.

First of all the light is alot smaller than expected. its about half the size you see in the picture with the hands. those don't look like 8 year old hands to me which would be the only thing that would make sense. its about 3" long about 1cm high 1.5cm wide.

as far as the lighting goes it would be fine for closed spaces and such but light doesn't travel effectively more than 2 or so feet. I compared to a 15 lumin light id say its just about the same.

Wanted LED lighting for my motorcycle's license plate. Fabricated a water-proof plastic housing to provide additional protection for this LED unit. Sealed it inside the housing with clear Loctite silicone. Affixed it between the underside of the rear fender and front of the metal license plate bracket with more silicone. The fender provides protection from the weather, and the license plate bracket and license plate protects it from anything that might fly off the rear tire. Wired it to the rest of my motorcycle's LEDs. The light worked and looked great for about a week. But now a few LEDs on one side flicker and no longer light up one side of the license plate. So now it must be replaced. Won't buy this unreliable junk again.

I purchased these for my live well several months ago. the LED's are molded into poly and have held up great after 6 months in saltwater. they work every time I fish and light up my live well very bright, couldn't ask for more.
