Think of the WaveX 430C as your own digital Swiss Army knife. In addition to being a digital audio player, it also sports a built-in FM tuner, an alarm clock, voice recorder, direct line-in recorder from an external source, and a JPEG viewer (via its 96 x 96 pixel color LCD). It offers 512 MB of flash memory, enough for 8 hours of CD-quality MP3 music (at 128 kbps) or 16 hours of WMA (at 64 kbps). It's also compatible with the Ogg Vorbis format (an open-source digital music format, similar to MP3) and copy-protected WMA files purchased from popular download sources such as Real Rhapsody.
It's powered by an internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 15 hours of battery life. It connects to Windows-compatible PCs via USB 2.0, and you can also store and transfer PC files and music files with a simple drag-and-drop from your Windows OS. Other features include a handy sports grip and 3D SRS WOW sound enhancement.

This player has everything you would want. Great sound, 512 mb of space, a color screen, and a rechargable battery. I can see where it might be too pricy at $150, but it's down to $84! That's unheard of.

I was pretty impressed with this unit. Downloading and playing music is a snap. My only complaint is that some of the high level navigation is difficult. I.e. getting to the shuffle play menu. The instruction sheet is not that good. The device is fine.

This is a pretty good MP3 Player. Easy to use and navigate. Comes with everything you need. Nice colorful display. Price was good at about 90 bucks including shiping. I actually tesed it to see how long the usb charge would last and i am impressed it lasted about 12 hours of continus play.
I reccommend this product. J
