The Who's Tommy is priced at $10.97 for both physical CD and digital MP3 (256kbps) -- anyone finds it odd? The pricing model seems to force buyers to pay higher price just because digital downloads are getting popular. unfair amazon, unfair!

p.s. the same goes for a lot of albums where digital download price is merely few cents short of physical CD price.

Looks like this is a year-late response, but that's just supply and demand. Think of it as a severely discounted physical CD, out of which you can created your own higher fidelity MP3s.
