Product Description

Flavor: Rich Vanilla

The nutritional quality of dietary protein depends greatly on amino acid composition and the concentration of essential amino acids that are provided for the synthesis of proteins within the body. As a derivative of milk production, the amino acid (AA) profile in whey proteins is closely related to the amino acids required by the human body. Whey proteins also have proportionately more sulfur-containing amino acids and contain a relative surplus of a variety of essential amino acids. This all results in an optimal balance of amino acids (building blocks of protein) needed for muscle growth. All Natural Whey holds the very highest biological value (HBV), meaning it rates number one in digestion, absorption, utilization, and retention. All Natural Whey can benefit those with a wide variety of health concerns ranging from the exceptionally healthy athlete, to those trying to support lean muscle mass (i.e., children, teenagers, less active individuals as well as elderly)

Update 06/05/14: I received my my new container of this protein powder, and I noticed the label has changed. I immediately compared the ingredients to the protein powder I used to get, and noticed that they changed the sweetener. They removed the lo han guo and stevia, and replaced it with TreLEAFia which is apparently stevia leaf extract, Trehalose, and Monk fruit Extract. It still has the carrageenan unfortunately (I was actually hopeful for about a minute, thinking they really improved it). Will post an update as soon as I try it.

Now back to my original review:

As a health nut, I am always reading ingredients, and I am always putting things back the second I read something such as sugar, or artificial sweeteners. I am extremely picky, and would rather go with out than put something unhealthy in my body. With that said, I love this protein powder. It is sweetened with stevia, (something that actually grown in the ground rather than being created in a lab), and the flavor is very delicious. I actually find it a tad too sweet, and always keep an eye out for the natural flavor, which is not as sweet, but can never find it, so I settle for the vanilla.
I like to add a scoop of protein powder to my coffee. It is much better than cream/sugar, tastes better too. I tried the chocolate flavor, and it's okay, but it didn't quite make a mocha out of my coffee like I hoped. There's something about the chocolate flavor I'm not too fond of.
Other ways you can eat it, is to add it to your plain yogurt, or to your orange juice. Believe it or not, you can actually just mix it with water, and it still tastes good. I always have it after a work out, though sometimes I make it into a shake instead of just mixing with water.

This is a good tasting protein that is cold processed as to not damage ingredients but then the makers add Carageenan to the mix. Let me say that I am not a scientist, researcher or in the medical field, but in my humble opinion Carageenan is a questionable ingredient due to its POSSIBLE link to gastrointestinal problems and maybe even Cancer. I emailed MRM to see what they said about the ingredient and I received a very timely response to which they basically said Carageenan was safe because they use food grade Carageenan and not the degraded Carageenan, which is linked to GI problems/Cancer and that their food grade Carageenan has been thoroughly studied and proven to be safe.

I must give them credit for EXCELLENT customer service and a very timely response - without this ingredient I think they have a great product.

Regardless, I strongly advise you to do your own research on Carageenan (both degraded and undegraded food grade) if you are considering using any product that contains it.

I am not saying use or don't use this product, all I am saying is that I won't continue using this product and want people to know that they should do their research.

This protein powder is better tasting and had more "fluf" quality than any other I've tried and I've tried at least four other kinds. The vanilla flavor is sweetened with stevia and makes my smoothies just a little sweeter and yummier. This also thickens or flufs up my smoothies.

I originally bought this MRM Whey Protein at a health-food store. I especially like it because it's low in carbs and uses Stevia for a sweetener instead of the other more chemical alternatives. I usually buy the Rich Vanilla because it is so versatile. I add a lot of cinnamon (good for you!) and it tastes delicious, especially when I mix it with hemp milk. I've made it for my friends who only eat things based on good taste, and everyone has loved this product. When I ordered it from Amazon.com, I found that it was about half the price, and with my Amazon Prime free two-day shipping, it made it very economical and quick to receive. I plan to order ahead of time before I run out to be sure I always have this product on hand for our morning "shakes".

This might be my first review ever on Amazon, even if I have been buying stuff from here for a long long time.
I just wanted to say that this protein tastes amazing! Really. I put a scoop in 4 oz of water and it's great. If I put more water, i personally think it becomes too much water for the protein. So for every scoop, put only 4 oz.
I did not even try with milk, which I can only guess tastes even better.

The reason I bought it in the first place is that it contains protein from cows not injected with hormones or anything. So it's clean. It's also filtered on low temperature, which keeps the protein close to its natural state.

About the results. Well, I just started taking it, so I can only comment on taste. But even then, protein is just protein. If you want to build muscle, you have to eat a lot of it during the day. There isn't a magical one that will make your muscles that much bigger than others. Maybe if there was more stuff added to the powder, like creatine or something, but there isn't in this product.

peace ;)

This was a good, solid product, and I can understand why people rely on it. However, it seems a matter of personal choice. I found it to be a bit too grainy, it didn't dissolve fully no matter what I did (though it mixed better in milk), and the flavor was a bit too sweet and slightly gamey, with or without milk. I infinitely prefer EAS.
