greatest goggles ever,

I use goggles a lot, in hot and humid conditions. I can make these fog up, but it is pretty tough. I really like these since they seem to scratch less and keep a good clear view. They cost more, but I find them worth it.

No way are they anti-fog,

These goggles fog up faster than any goggle I have seen. They claim to be anti-fog but MSA must not have tested this feature. It makes me wonder about their other products. The goggles become useless in a matter of seconds due to fog. Otherwise they are a pretty nice google but when you can't see, they are of no value.

Good goggles for dirt tracks. They fit nicely over a pair of glasses and don't allow dust in. Never had a problem with fog. Recommended wear for Eldora!

These googles are very comfortable. They are not vented which may be a problem for some users.

I will admit that these goggles do not fog nearly as much as others I have tried. I used to wear glasses, and bought these when I still wore glasses. Previous goggles used to fog up immediately, or fog up my glasses. However, I rarely had an issue with this pair in the winter. When the climate started getting hotter, I started to notice more fog. Repeated attempts to adjust the position of the goggles, and the strap, did not fix the issue.
I do not wear glasses anymore (got LASIK a few months ago), and I still have the fogging issue during hotter weather. The goggles also aren't especially comfortable or uncomfortable, accommodate glasses well, and are a good price. But I can't necessarily say that I would recommend them if only because the fog is still an issue. They do not fog up nearly as fast or as much as other pairs I've tried, but quite frankly it still isn't good enough. Thankfully, I have never had any accidents where I've needed to test the splash-resistance or durability of this pair yet, so I can't comment on those claims. I use them in a laboratory setting and the best I can say is that they do well to keep the fumes out of my eyes; the downside of course being that they are not very well ventilated. If you live in a cooler climate, you shouldn't have any problems with them. |
