.. and it peels good at first .. but the metal is flimsy and flips back and forth .. and the biggest downfall ever .. is there is no lil side scooper to take the eyes or bad parts off the potato .. The only reason it didn't get one star is because I got it for four bucks and it has googly eyes!

The potato shaped handle fits comfortably in the palm of my hand, it doesn't slip even when my hands are wet and my hands don't cramp from trying to control a slippery or awkward peeler. The blade removes thin strips from apples, potatoes, and eggplant so there's little waste. It stays in place on the dishwasher rack. It stands solidly on sensible shoes and its cute eyes are adorable. It would make a nice addition to a gift basket for a person stocking their first kitchen.
