Works flawlessly for what I need. I use it with my Mazdaspeed3 which is a pretty finicky car and should be monitored.


Only downside is that MSD does not support the product anymore.. The most current software update is all that there is going to be. But does not mean it doesn't work.. but if there is something that doesnt work for you, its not going to be fixed.. So far I have not run into that problem and works as needed.

MSD describes this product as "Universal OBDII multi-gauge" on the Amazon website. When you drill down through the owners manual (when you get one), you find that the product is NOT "Universal OBDII multi-gauge ". In addition to OBDII, the car must have the upgraded communication language called "CAN". Without that you have nothing. In addition, MSD never responded to my request for an update (they said they were "adding cars" to the acceptable list. Amazon, as usual stepped in and saved the day. Big disappointment to me, because I have used a lot of MSD "in the old days". I notice tonight that MSD has a second page up with the warning. I am reviewing this on the old page, which is also still up. Summary: Be careful, and thanks to Amazon!
PS: My unit was also obviously opened and mishandled before shipping to me. maybe a return from someone like me!

Plugs right under steering wheel alcove,
-tells you all data, pressures, temps, in real-time
-matches all colors
-can be used as a kind of HUD display with speed if you place it right.

WORTH THE PURCHASE, has everything any other gauge has and you will not want to get rid of it once you have it.

PS- I am using this on my 2005 GTO..

I have no issues with the quality of the product overall. Unfortunately, it cannot display the engine oil temp or the transmission temp for my Mazda. I know it can do this for other American cars but I did not know this until I bought it. On the website it gives you a list of a bunch of gauges that would be on there but it never mentioned that not all were available for my car. Also, I may have not bothered to look since it's so basic. I bought it off of ebay used for much less. I purchased it mainly to keep an eye on my fuel economy. Unfortunately, that's not accurate either after double checking at the pump. The fuel milage gauge supposedly gets thrown off by direct injection cars. it was off by around 30%. There is a correction factor you can do but it still won't come that close. I basically use it for coolant temp, boost, intake boost temp, and fuel injector rate. i have not used the 0-60 function and I am not sure if i care to. I was looking at Scan Gauge2 but it is even more limited than this one.

I'm giving it 3 stars because i was disappointed with the availably of features for my car, but mainly because the main reason why I bought it (fuel economy) doesn't work well for my car. This fact is not clearly mentioned in any material. You may have different expectations for your car.

I was looking for a boost gauge (along with some others) for my car and didn't want my car to be filled with gauges and be all "2 Fast 2 Furious" looking. Dashhawk was perfect for the job. I can monitor everything without having 10+ gauges. Just one device that will do everything and no wiring. Just plug it into your OBDII and go.

To the guy that's complaining about it not being compatible with his car... you should have done your research first before you make the purchase and then complain about it because you didn't do your research. Everything is available at Dashhawk website.

P.S. The firmware was out of date on my unit. Make sure you download the latest firmware from Dashhawk website and update.
