This item was DOA (Dead On Arrival).

Also, one of the computers would completely crash into a weird comatose-sleep while trying to wake from sleep.

I was building my first PC and I chose this motherboard because of the price and the decent reviews. Now, I did know that it needed to be updated I just didn't know that I would need an older compatible processor to do it. When I completed the build everything worked except the I/O ports ( Usb, vga, hdmi etc). The fans turned on, the dvd drive opened up, ans all the led's worked, but there was no signal to my monitor. After doing some research I learned the reason was the board itself was compatible with my A8 6600k I just needed to install it with an older CPU to get the bios on screen, but I don't have any laying around, so I decided to just send it back which Amazon made really easy for me. I believe though, that if I could have updated it it would've been great. The board felt really sturdy and looked great, not to mention it has usb 3.0 ports and sata 3 connectors. Today I received my new motherboard a ASRock FM2A75M Pro4+ FM2+ / FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3), put it in my case and the bios popped right away and was super easy to navigate. And it has all the same specs as this MSI.

The Mobo is as expected; but some of previous reviews keeps me on guard for the next weeks.
Got some additional info which may be helpful:
(Using an APU A8-6600k with it)
- 24pins + 4pins for power
- Temperatures shown in BIOS are not quite relevant with APU (it increases to +60 in a few minutes - but its not the case physically; research on this topic if required).

didn't know that this motherboard's bios has to be updated before i could actually use it with my fm2 socket AMD A10-5800K Quad-Core APU Trinity Processor, when i turned on my pc everything ran but it showed no display i tried on many different monitors with hdmi and vgi ports. its very unfortunate that these companies don't ship the boards out with up to date bios, not everyone has old cpu's (or apu's) laying around, i will return to amazon and buy a motherboard that supports my api right out of the box. This motherboard although i couldn't get the chance to use it seemed to be well built and for a great price. also if anyone has figured a fix to this or if anyone has the same apu and this board worked with it i could have just had a default motherboard. really sucks that i have to return it.

This thing was the best motherboard I had ever seen. It has mouse capability in the BIOS, and was a great price. I used pcpartpicker to make sure it was compatible. Easy to set up, and recognized my video output as VGA instantly. After about two months, it just blew up. Will not output video. I don't even know if it actually boots. The fans will run and the LED on the optical drive work, but no video. My coworker said he also had an MSI board blow up on him.

Purchased the board with this build: http://austinnotduncan.com/builds/photon/
When I put everything together and tried to turn on the computer it didn't work. Fans and LED's ran for half a second but it wouldn't turn on. I put all of the other parts into a different computer and they worked. Basically it was Dead On Arrival.

I haven't been able to use this particular one, but I used an A88-E35, and that was like EXACTLY the same. I don't love that a dual slot video card blocks access for a PCIe-2 wifi card meaning that I have to use USB, but what can I do...except wait to upgrade.

I also don't love that it only has 2 DDIM slot, but considering that I only have two sticks of 4g ram, I can't complain.

Also it is mATX, so I can do some gaming in my small form-factor bitfenix ohenom case which I personally love.

Pros:
-Small form factor.
-Low power usage.

Cons:
-Sata plugs can get in the way of larger graphics cards, should swap placement with the audio pins.
-You should update the bios asap, or you'll get random crashes. Just use a flash drive.
-USB 3.0 ports need a program that doesn't seem to be on the disk that came with it in order to detect stiff.

Not bad for the price.
