I was building my first PC and I chose this motherboard because of the price and the decent reviews. Now, I did know that it needed to be updated I just didn't know that I would need an older compatible processor to do it. When I completed the build everything worked except the I/O ports ( Usb, vga, hdmi etc). The fans turned on, the dvd drive opened up, ans all the led's worked, but there was no signal to my monitor. After doing some research I learned the reason was the board itself was compatible with my A8 6600k I just needed to install it with an older CPU to get the bios on screen, but I don't have any laying around, so I decided to just send it back which Amazon made really easy for me. I believe though, that if I could have updated it it would've been great. The board felt really sturdy and looked great, not to mention it has usb 3.0 ports and sata 3 connectors. Today I received my new motherboard a ASRock FM2A75M Pro4+ FM2+ / FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3), put it in my case and the bios popped right away and was super easy to navigate. And it has all the same specs as this MSI.

The Mobo is as expected; but some of previous reviews keeps me on guard for the next weeks.
Got some additional info which may be helpful:
(Using an APU A8-6600k with it)
- 24pins + 4pins for power
- Temperatures shown in BIOS are not quite relevant with APU (it increases to +60 in a few minutes - but its not the case physically; research on this topic if required).

Would not buy again. This item was DOA (Dead On Arrival). I went through the RMA process and got it back WAY before they thought I would. The RMA said it would take 5-15 days in their building. It only took 1 day in there building BUT took 1 week shipping each way since I shipped free from Maine to California, and back. Basically though I won't ever buy MSI again because their way of dealing with the problem the first 5 times I called them was to tell me it was other things in my computer. Would not suggest.

I built a Silverstone HTPC system and decided to go with this board. Everything is working fine and it handles all my media well. If anything crops up about this board that deems a downgraded star rating, I'll update my post. At the moment, 5 stars is what I'm giving it :-)

Great motherboard absolutely no problems, used a athlon x4 750k and they are blazing fast together. Recommend both.

So far so good, worked great out of the box. This is my 4th or 5th computer build, Mboard posted without any issues.

Pros
- Bios has mouse support,
- Bios was easy to use. In fact the Bios felt much better then I would have expected at this price.
- manual was easy enough to follow

Cons
1. Every motherboard I have used before had the power, reset, etc pins marked directly on the board. For this board I had to look it up in the manual. (this is why it got 4 stars, I found this annoying)
2. This is a no frills board, so do not expect anything then the bare minimum on the board.

I have not yet overclocked and I am not sure if I will so I can not comment on that.
