Great motherboard for AM1i (AMD Low power) platform.

Paired it with G.SKILL Ripjaws 16GB Kit (2x8gb) , AMD Athlon 5350 and a Corsair CW450 PSU. Ran memtest86 for about 24 hours with no memory errors. The Athlon 5350 supports unbuffered ECC ram. It's possible there is non-documented support for ECC in the board.

I had no problem running a "legacy" Linux installation that does not support UEFI. I'm running a VM home lab on it (Xenserver 6.2) and it runs Stable 24x7.

This motherboard has a full sized PCIe slot for a external video card. It has a mini PCIe socket. You can use this to add a msata SSD Drive, Network card or add 2 extra SATA ports.

A few things that could be better:
It only has 2 USB 2.0 ports on the back It be nice to have at least one more for a usb memory stick. I'm not sure if the 3.0 ports can be used for booting a install USB stick.
The SATA ports as a near the PCIe slot. It might affect with dual slot video cards.

I'm knocking one star out because of MSI support: I had a problem getting a Intel Pro/1000 dual nick installed. As soon as I put it in my server failed to boot into the OS. (kernel crash, then automatic restart). I sent a email to MSI asking for advise and their answer as "please check with the device manufacturer and Linus as MSI does not provide any support for Linux". hmmm. Thank you!! this is not 1998 and lots of people use Linux as desktops or servers. Answer is not satisfactory. About my problem I removed the motherboard and reseated it making sure the case screws were perfectly centered. after this the Intel Pro/1000 functioned correctly.
