My first laptop!,

I got it home uncartoned it and was up and running in a short while.
I love the large 16" screen, the keypad and weight (something like 4lbs) isn't so bad.... I got my son a smaller Acer w/o the keypad and when I used his, I missed MY keypad. It has: T4200 Intel Dual core processor at 2.1 Mhz 800mhz bus. 4Gb of ram 320Gb of hard drive space Blu-Ray player 1.3 mp webcam 3 count them 3 USB ports!! the on one the rt front corner is very convenient. 1366 x 768 resolution With it's fast processing speed, I can play the few games that I *do* play,and surf the web very quickly. I just wish I had gotten this little gem sooner. I have used the blu-ray and it(Transformers 2) looks great on the small(er) screen. I tried to use the HDMI cable and hook it up to my 32" lcd TV but I suppose it needs the software upgrade to play movies on the bigger screen. I *do* find the mouse pad a bit touchy/sensitive but I'm told that's the case with all pads. [...] I would recommend this to anyone looking to surf the net, play a few games (it's really NOT a gamer machine) or just about anything in between. |
