Pros:
Outputs whatever you want to throw at it.
Isn't going to break the bank, assuming you can find one for sale anymore.

Cons:
Hot!
Fair support.

I've had this card for about a year and a half. It has handled everything I've wanted since then, usually on very high settings for games/3d design/rendering, you name it. The darned thing is hot, however, and I'm beginning to see those black lines and squares possibly leading to a failure. A year and a half of never thinking about graphics settings, and always using dual-screens with no SLI is great value for its price, so I'm 'ok' with how long it's lasted. The only other problems I've had with it outside of its slow heat-death (in a well ventilated case BTW), are the finicky nature of the support software from AMD. The catalyst control center fights with programs like Flux, and color corrections will randomly be forgotten. It's frustrating, but not a deal breaker (I don't know if anyone else does it better).

I've recently purchased a refurbished hp envy phoenix 1414c from best buy for $500 (couldn't resist the steal).
However the prebuilt came installed with the radeon 7460 which wasnt going to cut it. So i searched on amazon and stumbled upon the MSI AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB. (best graphics card for the money btw) after buying this and a PSU of 550w i couldn't be happier. AC3 and Tomb Raider (mid-low settings) were okay on the 7450, but look amazing on this bad boy (High settings). Definitely recommend to anyone.

Current prebuilt specs

FX-6100 3.5 GHz
M3970AM-HP mobo
10GB DDR3 Ram
Raedon HD 7850
1TB HDD
PSU 550w

For the money it's hard to beat this card. I bought this card in early September, 2012 and I've been using it since. The only graphics cards out now (ca. 12/14/2012) that perform better than this card start at $100 more (i.e. GTX 660) with only about 10-15% better performance. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I get a consistent 60FPS in Elder Scrolls: Skyrim at maxed out settings with about 35 mods installed and most of those are mods that add lots of high resolution graphics to the game, and I have a system that's pushing 5 years old!

My setup:
Intel Q6600 @ 2.4GHz
8GB Kingston memory
This card
MSI g41m-p23 mainboard
1TB Samsung HDD @ 7200rpm
