As someone said earlier. This card is a real PICK UP for a wimpy HP Slimline. It fit fine. Took a little time to get the low profile brackets on but all-in-all was a piece of cake. Worked with the HP 220W power supply and am playing Elder Scrolls: Skyrim just fine along with all other games thrown at it. No overheating or shut down after 5 hours of use. Beats the built-in Nvidia 6150 SE and visuals are superb and can run Dirext X 11 games now! Would highly suggest this if you made a bad decision and bought an HP Slimline. I'm never going to buy another HP as long as I live.

I have an old Dell Optiplex GX620 with PCI expresss2, 4GB, 1TB, running Windows 7 64bit that I use mostly as an HTPC for streaming video via DLNA. Installed the card without a glitch, W7 will install automatically the drivers although some users will find useful to download the very latest drivers directly from Nvidia.

Video and audio is running clearly and smoothly on my Samsung HDTV 42" which I connect to via an HDMI 1.4a cable (in case you were wondering). Almost can't hear the fan, practically silent in my small room, and actually I prefer the fan being there as ventilation is poor in my cramped SFF Dell Optiplex (more later).

It doesn't need an extra energy cable and it comes with low profile brackets.

I think this card is perfect for low profiles pcs, low powered, pcs intended for HTPC. Mine has barely 220W and is working fine, temp 42C-62C, fan at 52%.
Previously tried a 1GB card, and video looked choppy at best.

For those unfortunate enough to have one of those (SSF) Small Size Form Dell Optiplex (GX520, GX620, GX720) I can say there is barely room between the card slots. Contraty to the picture shown here in Amazon, this graphic card is actually very wide (low profile though) because the fan is bulky and protudes a lot. It may take space of 2 slots, I guess. After I installed mine, I realized it had twisted out of its place one of the big transitors in the motherboard, fortunately without breaking it. So my pc still works, without issue, and I can only hope no problems in the future. Also, it took part of the space of my HDD, so I couldnt put it on its secure attachment. I decided to leave it there, firmly crushed between cables and the case. Since I don't move that machine I hope there is no problem.

The kmod-nvidia video drivers runs this video card perfectly under Linux. It's a great card with enough power for modest gaming. Super for desktop or HTPC needs.

It's been extremely stable. Can't find a thing to fault it for.

I'd buy another one if I needed it.

Though this card is no where near top of the line, it does hold its own compared to any other slim graphics card. I purchased this as an upgrade for my brother in law's computer. It performs well enough that he can now play his games on his computer. For a basic gamer or just anyone that made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing a slim computer I would highly recommend this card.

I was surprised that an extra gig of memory could make such a difference in the card's performance but it did. It went in fine and set up was a snap. I recommend this product without reservation.

I purchased this to allow me to connect a computer to a 50 inch plasma via HDMI through a receiver. I can surf the net or watch video on my big screen and the sound is fantastic

Installed this in an older Dell Optiplex 745 Desktop (bought on Amazon) with a single PCI Express x16 slot. Yes, it works with the x16 slot, even though it's a 2.0 card. It takes up two bays on the back for low profile install, however. Works beautifully. On an Intel Dual-Core 3.4, we're running Skyrim on high, Team Fortess without a hitch, and G-Mod doesn't hang up either. turned an older business desktop into a gaming rig for the kids. Couldn't be happier.

I have a HP 6404y that I needed to upgrade to be able to have a line out to monitor and another to hd tv. This fit smoothly into case, with no extra power cable required.

One note though, all the other reviews I read said that this card would run off 300 watt psu. According to the paperwork I received and on the box itself, minimum psu is 350. I have another psu on order, but in the mean time, I just don't turn both the monitor and tv on at the same time. (edited 10/30: received and installed SeaSonic G Series 550-Watt ATX12V/EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply SSR-550RM - ordered here off Amazon. It installed easily in Mid-ATX tower and is quiet B00918MEZG

Card seems to work good so far with no issues. Software automatically updates, no grainy issues with hd, etc. We are not big into gaming, but run movies and instructional videos on both the monitor and tv.

It does have sound out, but it sounds like 2 channel and not surround. If you plan on using this on your home entertainment system, you might want to connect directly from your audio card to receiver or tv.

Edited 10/30/13: I see a lot of questions asking if this will fit their system. Here are the system requirements:

On the box it states Minimum System Requirements:
*PCI Express-compliant motherboard with one dual width x16 graphics slot.
*Minimum 350W or greater system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating of 18A).
