I made a good decision in buying this mobo for my first computer build. It has more than enough slots and USB ports, and accepts some great AMD CPUs. I had to give it only 4 stars due to the following minor reasons:

The installation guide was cryptic and clearly written in China. They could've been clearer for any builder. Part of the guide was confusing.

The Realtek built-in audio card does NOT support microphones, even with a receptacle made for one. MSI's motherboard drivers do not support one, and I had to purchase a USB adapter and download the Realtek drivers.

This features nVidia SLI technology, which is multithreading capable. It's good to have going into Windows 7, let alone Windows XP. I was able to install a big nVidia GTS-500 video card with no problem.

Overall, it's a great motherboard with good VGA and HDMI video hookups, AMD64 ready, and the placement in my Gigabyte box lines up well with the vents. I would recommend it if you don't intend to use a microphone.

This motherboard is solid. The board layout is very easy to work with. Installation was pretty straightforward. What I like most about this motherboard is that it's easy to tweak the setting in the bios. It even has some preset tweaks you can try instead of making your own bios modifications.

The only negative aspect is the manual could have gone into more detail for the various bios settings. Unfortunately this is the case with many motherboard manufacturers.
