5.0 out of 5 stars A Good AMD/DDR2 Motherboard
I replaced an old MB with this one and a dual core processor and it rocks :-( It did suffer a bit in shipping, in that the heatpipe got bent out of place, but no big deal.

3.0 out of 5 stars MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum
I bought the 1st MSI K9N SLI Platinum Diamond. Seeing that I use to build computers. That mobo sat in the box over 1 yr. B4 i even got to it. To only have a DOA., MSI C.svc was a waste of email tag. Newegg wouldn't rma it. So Now it just looks pretty sitting next to the trash can. So, for anyone when you get anything mobo or any other parts & test it. Or, you'll be...

I have had this motherboard for at least a year and it is the first sli motherboard i have ever had and it it awesome. I have four gb of ddr2 in it a dual core amd athlon at 2.8ghz on am3 socket, and two 9500gt at 1gb of ddr2 and man the graphics on this are sweet benchmarks are at least 60.00 fps per second fine when im playing lfd 2 and real awesome for streetfighter 4! benchmarks on that game with v sync off are close to a hundred. plays crysis warhead on gamer setting but you can go custom on graphics and starcraft 2(custom on graphics) was awesome with my setup too never had so much fun super mother board and super components!also my power supply is an lsp ultra 750 watt psu!just wanted to say though that two usb dont work on mobo but with two extras it came with im fine in addition to the ones present on case this motherboard is awesome for the money!

Or, you'll be like me & have a costly pile of trash. Not worth a crap.
MSI use to be great about everything. I'll not buy from them anymore. only 7 of 10 mobo's worked. Then only to have them burn out or bios chip burnt out.

1.0 out of 5 stars Motherboard failed at Day 31, February 1, 2009
This review is from: MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum SocketAM2+/140W CPU/NVIDIA nForce 750aSLI/4DDR2-1066(AM2+)/NVIDIA Hybrid SLI/GeForce8200/GbE/DVI/R/A/1394/ATX Motherboard (Personal Computers)
Beginning day 31 of ownership, received following bios beep code, board failed:

The programmable interrupt timer or programmable interrupt controller has probably failed

US MSI web site has not been up for two days, so RMA process is delayed. Again, failed one day outside Amazon return window, so CANNOT RECOMMEND this product.
