Excellent Barebone Laptop
This is another excellent barebone laptop.I purchased this particular laptop as an replacement for the one I had with a smaller screen.When I first tested this unit I thought that the keyboard was not sturdy but after using it for a few days now I feel that it is just right and is actually very comfortable to type.The only thing that I wish this unit had versus the 14.1"...

They don't have zero star rating
What a piece of crap. It's been a while since I had this thing in my hands, so I don't remember the specific issues, but the unit was a$$. Also, it looked like it had been previously sold and returned when I got it, so this is a ding on Amazon, too.

This is another excellent barebone laptop.I purchased this particular laptop as an replacement for the one I had with a smaller screen.When I first tested this unit I thought that the keyboard was not sturdy but after using it for a few days now I feel that it is just right and is actually very comfortable to type.The only thing that I wish this unit had versus the 14.1" unit is the fingerprint reader this is an excellent security device and it was not included on this model. The graphics chip is the Nvidia 8200 GM.This graphics chip is great for medium and light gaming and I was able to run most of my favorite games on the High detail setting.This unit also has 3 USB ports and a webcam.The webcam has very good picture quality and should work fine for instant messaging or video conferencing.The larger screen is a plus it has a maximum of 1440x900 resolution at 60Hz.The picture quality for this display is excellent in my opinion.It is great for watching DVD's,gaming as well as powerpoint presentations.As with the previous unit that I reviewed you have to add your own Memory,CPU,Hard Drive and optionally Wireless Card for the mini pci-e slot.I installed a wireless adapter in my unit and it worked excellent.Windows right away recognized the device and downloaded all the necessary drivers.The entire assembly process was very simple even a novice would be able to do it with very little or no problems.I chose to use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit(highly recommended) on this unit and it handles it very well.The unit is very fast and responsive with no hang ups.I rate this unit 5 stars.I would highly recommend this laptop for the student,business professional or casual computer user.
