This clamp is designed for bench holdfasts that require specific production clamping situations. It secures and releases the workpiece instantly with a light throw of the lever, features adjustable rubber pressure tips, and oil- and stain-resistant red vinyl or plastic hand grips. Maximum clearance is provided by the specially designed toggle mechanism. The U-bar and open-bar models are supplied with flanged washers, while the solid-bar models are supplied with weld-on bolt retainers. The hold capacity is 500 pounds.

Great way to secure stock to jigs...I improved mine by replacing the nut with a wing nut and slotted the 4 holes so that I could simply loosen the screws and move hold downs from jig to jig...

I just built a 45 deg cut-off sled and installed two of these to hold the work in place when cutting. They make that job much safer, and you can actually clamp tight enough to cut angles other than just 45 deg.
