Easy to install and works great.

I use this card for basic computing, a lot of streaming, watching videos, web browsing and just general use very little gaming and it does that with no issues.

Very nice low profile design. Fit in perfectly for a slim tower desktop. Has three ports(HDMI,VGA, DVI). Supports dual monitors. The software , called Catalyst Control Center, coming with this video card is user-friendly. Just keep in mind that, if you are using HDMI connection to a computer monitor, and if you see white boarders around the monitor, you would need to adjust the 'overscan' to zero in the scaling options of Catalyst Control Center.

I have Dell Optiplex 360 with stock 235 watt psu. Run CD first and change the BIOS setting to detect my graphic card. Installed it and up and running in 10min or so. So much better than Intel onboard graphic!

Installed three of these cards in low-profile PCIE slots of Dell GX280 2.8MHZ, HP Pavilion Slimline 2.2MHZ (mini-micro and a Dell GX620 3.6MHZ, tower, full height slot. In all cases the card installed with ease <2min connected to internet and MS updates provided drivers. No game advice here, added to improve overall speed, it worked very well.

I do actually game on this card. I know, most of you are thinking right now "Duuuude, she usin a lame card for gamin'. she dont know the first thing about gamin' if she using this card" Well, yes i know this may not be the best graphics card for games, but its not all that bad either. If i wanted to play hardcore games like BF4, then i would get a better card. But at the moment, i do not. Why would you (and yes this was on an elderly phone commercial) ever pay for more than what you need? For tf2 at max settings, this gets me 60 fps. Same with Minecraft. For the price, it is worth it.

If you are asking yourself "should i really get this card?", then my answer is yes, you should.

I bought this card from Amazon in order to replace an older card in an HTPC. From my point of view the card is perfect. Because of the UVD3 engine that ATI has equipped the card the load on decoding movies has completely moved to the GPU. In Task Manager i see now the CPU arround 3% (intel i3 first gen.) I was also worried that the computer will not be able to power this card since my HTPC has a power supply of only 235W. This does not seem to be an issue from what i have read in different forums the model that uses GDDR3 at peak will have a TDP of 18W.

The case contained the card an the low profile brackets that i needed for my HTPC.

I'm a newby at doing this type of installation. That's why 4 years ago I decided to buy a VGA to HDMI convertor instead of a graphics card because I though it would be difficult to install. My computer didn't have a HDMI plug. After doing some research online I realize these things just plug into slots on the computer. All you need is the make and model number of your computer and then do a google search for "graphics card and that model number" to find a compatible card. A few years ago I also installed memory in my computer so I thought it shouldn't be any more difficult and it wasn't. It took only 5 minutes to install in my old HP Compaq Presario. Once I turned the computer back on I immediately saw a vast improvement in the brightness and picture quality on both the TV and my computer monitor. The card started searching for drivers on it's own. I then popped the driver cd in to complete the installation and restarted my computer. I went into Bios but it looked like graphics card was already enabled so I let the computer restart. After restart there was no sound on the TV. So I went into control-settings-sound or right click the speaker icon on the lower right hand of the computer to pull up playback devices. Then enable HDMI sound device. That way I way able to get the sound from the card instead of the motherboard that was no longer active. The only small issue I have is I haven't figured out how to get the sound on both the computer and the TV at the same time. With my old motherboard it sent the sound to the computer and TV simultaneously using my VGA to HDMI convertor. If I want the sound on the computer I have to go back into sound settings and enable speakers but then I don't have sound on the TV.Read more ›
