I game at 720p since my screen can't go higher but I can easily max out games like Max Payne 3, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite and it will run very fluid.

I did some research and everyone said it was compatible, so far it has been.

I built my system in 2008, I spent approximately 1000 dollars doing it. The computer has held up ever since the day I had turned it on without any problems. I have upgraded the RAM and that's about it. The video cards that I had in it could not keep up with today's current games. I decided I would try this product out and for the money it appear to be a great buy. I wondered if my old PCI Express 1.1 slot would be able to utilize this card . I did some research and everyone said it was compatible, so far it has been. I am totally amazed that I am able to play the latest releases at the highest resolutions without any shutter lag at all. Most games utilize the GPU anyways. I bought this card for $149 and it was a great investment.I looked at some reviews online and this card in its class is absolutely a mud stomper when it compares to other cards in the same class for the money. I am sure that you will not be disappointed if you purchased this product, so far it has been super fantastic an absolutely amazing and I am running a rig that is 6 years old. A P5K-E motherboard, 4Gb of GSkills 1066 Ram and a Intel Q6700 quad core processor .The power supply is a Antech 650w supply with a WD 500gb 7200 rpm hard drive. Hardly impressive specs in today's world, but with this card you would never know the difference. The original video cards in the system were HD 4850 running crossfire. I am happy happy happy!!!

Picked for a budget gaming rig. Currently running heavily modded Skyrim at ultra maintaining >58 FPS. GW2 and EVE on ultra is a breeze. Stays reasonably cool in an air-cooled mid-ATX, though the fans are only 1k RPM.

I picked the MSi card due to speed of shipping and my personal history with the brand.

Had this card 3 days now. I am not a gamer though I do play them on occasion. Just not a heavy gamer. More into digital imaging and manipulation. Heard this card was good for that.

Installed it, and just as a curious thought, figured I would check it in Windows Experience. My previous card was horrible. Would barely pull a 5.0

Imagine my surprise when it showed a 7.9 for graphics and 7.9 for gaming graphics.
My experience level dropped some with memory, down to a 7.4.
With my HD, it went down to 5.9. I know why there....but it is a new drive 1 terrabite western digital 7200 RPM, 16gig cache.

This is a new build...had just needed to replace the graphics card. Last new part needed. Now..one more needed.

Anyway, I have 32 gigs of ram Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (1x8 GB Module) 1600MHz 240-pin DDR3
This graphics card of course.
ASRock MB-970EX4 Socket AM3+/ AMD 970
AMD FX6300 CPU
Corsair CC-9011048-WW Carbide Series Air 540
Right now running with the stock cpu cooler though I am planning on a new one very soon. Though my temps are staying in the 29 deg cel. range at low loads. No overclocking as yet. Either on the gpu or on the ram. The asrock comes with a utility that allows setting and overclocking the ram as well as the graphics card.
I do have 5 fans cooling this case. Barely hear em from 2 ft away.
All being run by Windows 7 Pro 64bit Had to come add this. I forgot

Next purchase is going to be an ssd card at least 250 gigs, to put windows and then for a swap file. I would expect to see that 5.9 go up quite a bit at that point. More so if I go strictly flash drive. 500 to 1 terrabite.

But in the meantime...am I smiling....you betcha. I got all the parts for this right here at a good price. The ram at the time cost me 54 bucks an 8 gig stick. So going to 32 was cost effective and well worth it.

I upgraded my ASUS I7 3770 CPU with this graphic card and a Corsair 600 P.U. My main interest is FSX and I am getting excellent results. Everything is running fine and smooth. All in all, a good value for money.

I bought this videocard to pair it with my budget gaming PC and I don't regret it. For its price is practically one of the best videocards you can get. I game at 720p since my screen can't go higher but I can easily max out games like Max Payne 3, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite and it will run very fluid. I also play Guild Wars 2 and it runs fairly well in PVE around 50 FPS or more in open areas (med to high settings), I change the settings on WvW because my PC starts struggling a bit, still I'm able to get 30 FPS average limiting the models displayed in my screen and the shadows. To give an idea of my system:

CPU: AMD A8 - 6600K @ 3.9 GHz
RAM: Super Talent 8 GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz
Motherboard: ASRock FM2A55M-VG3+
Videocard: MSI AMD Radeon R7 265
HD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB @ 7200 RPM
PSU: Corsair TX550M ~ 550W

Note: I had a minor issue with the videocard, I was using a VGA cable and the DVI - VGA adapter to plug it to my monitor and I was getting a flickering effect in my screen when I was gaming. The problem got addressed once I changed the cable and used a DVI-D (Dual link) cable instead. Since then everything has been working perfectly.
