It's brand new but the MSI box has a tear on it.

This card is great. It looks like I am the first reviewer on Amazon of it. I didn't buy it on Amazon because at the time It was cheaper on Newegg. Otherwise I normally buy exclusively from Amazon. I was able to get this card for 8% off, 30 dollar rebate and sell the 3 games it came with for 27.50. Total cost for me was around 180 dollars. That was a steal. This card runs in between the GTX 760 and 770 Nvidia equivalent. This card has 3gb memory unlike the standard versions of the 760 and 770 which have 2gb. Also found that it ran very very cool and would boost to its max potential (without overclocking) to 972mhz. That means that the card is automatically boosting it an addition 122 mhz because it is running so cool! I have my fans set at 30% fan speed on idle (idle temp of 38C) and a load max fan speed of 50% ( max temp of 65C ever). This means the card is damn quiet if it doesn't even need to go over 50% fan speed! Something interesting is that this is a 7950 rebranded. You can in fact crossfire a 7950 with this card. Here is what I get in Games for average FPS at 1080p....

Battlefield 4 at 70 FPS average on ultra no AA. 55 fps avg. with the 4x AA.
Crysis 3 is at 48 FPS average with zero AA and ultra.
Borderlands 2 is around 60 FPS average maxed out entirely.

I have found that this card runs games at around the same FPS as a r9 290 that is running the same games with maximum AA or close to it. I had the 290 before this but decided this was better for someone who doesn't play games as often. So I would recommend this card if you don't care so much about AA and just want a card that is able to ultra all current games still with 45+ fps in everything including Crysis 3. This is a much better card then I anticipated for 180 dollars. The only sad part is this card doesn't come with the backplate like the 280x does. Thats my only disappointment.

Bought to Run Skyrim, can run it with Max Ultra Settings and HD Texture pack, Games looks beautiful at 1080p and Runs at 60FPS without adjusting Video Card CPU and RAM Speed. my PC is an HP Z600 workstation with 2 Xeons running at 2.67 each and 12GB of RAM.

Solid video card.

If you are looking for a decent speed upgrade at a reasonable price, this is a great choice. Will easily power a single monitor at max resolution in just about any current game. I run at 1920X1200 with no issues, all graphics options on.

Works great. Bit on the big size. But that's the only issue I've had.
