Product came within specified time and packaged correctly with other items ordered. My old hose had sprung a leak and was subsequently taped with medical tape to sustain another hiker and myself to filter enough water to hike out of the LCR. The previous hose lasted 7 years with upwards of 3 to 10 times a year useage. The replacement hose went on with a little effort and created a good seal at both ends. It appears to be the same medical grade rubber replacement hose that I could buy at REI or any other sporting goods store for an MSR replacement hose. Same MSR packaging also. Used it for the first time this weekend and it worked perfectly so far.
