Was a perfect replacement to the original shave plate on my 24" wide troy-built snow thrower. The only difference is that this part is black in color instead of red, but that doesn't matter to me.

This plate is not the same thickness as the original plate that I replaced, therefore, I expect that it will wear out quicker. I recommend buying replacement hardware when planning to replace because the plate does not come with new hardware. I purchased the nuts & bolts at a local store and cut the bolts down to the length I needed because my old carriage bolts snapped off of my snowblower when trying to loosen them. Otherwise, the part fit perfectly and should perform well (for a while).

Fits-up, but not original thickness,

Purchased replacement scraper blade for my Craftsman snow blower. This replacement part was RED in color, not a big deal.
The disappointing part was the material was 1/3 thinner than the original part removed.
