I really like this box. In my opinion, the camouflage pattern is a tad bunk, so they really shouldn't advertise that aspect of it. The dual shot shell racks stack the ammunition nicely. The box is rugged and weather repellent; it is not submersible. Getting full racks out of the box is a very minor inconvenience, but pulling ammunition for use is a breeze. Get one, you won't be sorry. I should add that the hinges need some engineering. They can separate the box from the lid easily while opening. The lid does quickly snap back on if separation does happen.

This box is exactly what I needed for carrying shotgun shells and other miscellaneous ammo. I opted to remove 1 tray to allow room to carry ammo for all of my guns. I'm a rec shooter and like to take out 2-5 guns every outting, and this box allows me to carry enough ammo for all of them and never have to worry about running out. The latch is very secure and the box is solid. Interesting camo look, I actually like it. Don't know how well it will do at keeping moisure out, as I haven't went out in rainy conditions yet, but it seems like it would be fine if you had it out in the rain for a bit. Bottom line- the price is right for this box.

Update: After becomming annoyed at digging through my top ammo boxes to get to shotgun shells I sawed both trays in half (leaving the notches that hold in the middle of the box) so I could stack 100 shells on one side of the box and my other ammo on the other side. Perfect solution for anyone wanting to carry more than just shotgun shells.

Great design for ammo storage. Not the best for security purposes because it is only plastic. Trays stack nicely and keeps ammo organized. Left over space for things like earplugs or saftey glasses. Loakcs and is weather proof. Great Buy.

The product is great!!!! But i gave it four stars because the tray's on the inside dont snap into place... I mean its a great box for ammo but if you dropped it or bumped it the ammo along with the trays would fly around inside... But again the box its self is fantasick.... Weather proof just as they claim.... Nice Sturdy....

This is a great box to keep your shotgun ammunition dry and ready to go. The latch features a padlock hole on each side if you want to keep the box locked up for safety reasons. The box will hold 100 rounds of 2-3/4" or 3" shells and still has some space left over for a few small items. The only reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the box is made out plastic, which means that it could be broken open fairly easily if dropped or broken into even if locked. If you have kids I would keep the box locked in a gun cabinet or safe.

Great Box for the money! keeps all shell together and dry you can keep more shell than in has for holders.

The kind of item that you get to do a job and that's what it does very well.

Item doesnt seem to completely seal...at the hooking part, not sure how to explain, there is a gap, hope moisture doesnt leak in, i loaded this item with like 2000 rounds 40mm too heavy to carry, so had to split into two cans. not sure even that is a good idea, the handle is sturdy, its the hinges i have a concern about.

after alot of search i found this and to my amazement it works and looks great...easily hold more shells then advertised and you can even put an extra tray for another 50 shells. Box looks good and is of better quality then I expected.

This is the first plastic ammo can i've ever bought or used. I was skeptical about it being able to handle a full load of weight so i filled it up with 100 shotgun shells (as advertised) and then topped it off with as many boxes of bullets as I could fit on top of the shotgun shells. There is about 4 inches of space between the shells and the lid so you can put a lot of ammo on top of them. The box did great. The handle was very comfortable and sturdy and the locking arm never seemed to be straining in any way. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the "cammo" paint is more of a marble design and it looks kind of lame in my opinion. Why not make it solid OD green? If you buy this can you won't be disappointed.
