I purchased these P50 boxes because the description shows that it is compatible for the .454 Casull. When they arrived, I put some ammo randomly around the case and tried to close the lid - I had to force it to close the lid, and the lid bulged out.

I have also purchased the MTM P100 boxes and they work fine. I went to the website for MTM and found that my conclusions were confirmed. The P100 boxes have an external height of 2.0" whereas the P50 boxes have a height of 1.9". This makes a difference for the Casull which is 0.1" longer than the .45 Colt. I must assume that the box will work with them.

If you need a 50 round box for the Casull, order the Plano ammo box - I have one of these and they fit with plenty of room for the Casull loads - just make sure the Plano model number 1226-50 is in the description.
