Your basic plastic cases. The plastic isn't flimsy. and the plastic is trimmed and smooth. The latch is simple but you have to be sure it is secure before you move a full box, or cartridges can spill (don't ask me how I know). Good value for the money if bought in numbers, so shipping doesn't add too much to the cost.
