4.0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best In The Entire Series.
After the last 2 disastrous ( To say the least ) MTV PARTY TO GO volumes, This latest entry returns the series back to its original formula. The first half features remixes and club hits from Amber, Joey McEntyre, Leann Rimes, Jennifer Paige that will pump up any party, then slows down the pace with cool smooth jams from a Aaliyah, Monica, 702 and Britney Spears and...

3.0 out of 5 stars mtv party to go
the c.d. started off very good and very promising and I was moving to the beat of the music and truly enjoying myself until half way into the c.d. the music and mood changed from fast paced good dancing music to slow songs, some unrecoginizable to me......what a let down.....if they would have stayed with a consistant premise (i.e. beats per minute) this would have...

After the last 2 disastrous ( To say the least ) MTV PARTY TO GO volumes, This latest entry returns the series back to its original formula. The first half features remixes and club hits from Amber, Joey McEntyre, Leann Rimes, Jennifer Paige that will pump up any party, then slows down the pace with cool smooth jams from a Aaliyah, Monica, 702 and Britney Spears and rounds it up with two pop balads one from 98 degrees and the other from Jennifer Love Hewitt. This is definately one of the best volumes of the series, the mix is amazing and the song selection rocks. A Must have for any dance, R&B and pop music fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars DEFINITELY MY MTV PARTY TO GO!, June 14, 2001

I love this CD. It's got a fantastic mix of great Pop and R&B songs. My favorites are "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" Backstreet Boys, "Crush" Jennifer Paige", "How Do I Live" LeAnn Rimes, "Sexual" Amber, "Stay The Same" Joey McIntyre, "Are You That Somebody" Aaliyah, "Where My Girls At?" 702, "Thinkin' About You" Britney Spears, "How Do I Deal" Jennifer Love Hewitt, and "The Hardest Thing" 98 Degrees. I don't really like any of the other songs, however. The one by Steps is actually all right, but it has more of a Country beat to it for some reason. Anyways, this is an awesome complication! The music just doesn't stop...it's like a remix hour they play on a radio station - but with no DJ talking or commercials! If you love the music they play on MTV or love listenting to the radio recent top 40s, then this CD complication is for you!

I just got this CD today. I have been listening to it all day long! I especially like Jennifer Love Hewitt's "How Do I Deal." 98 Degrees' "The Hardest Thing" is great, too. It's not the absolute best, but it's worth your money if you like pop and R&B music.

5.0 out of 5 stars So much better, February 21, 2007
By
This review is from: MTV Party To Go 2000 (Audio CD)
I am so glad this album is so much better than '98 and '99 album because it has too many beats and perfect to dance to like Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Paige, LeAnn Rimes, Amber, Steps and much more. And I begin to wonder what happened with MTV Party To Go after this album since they have made those albums since 1990 (MTV Party To Go Vol. 1 until MTV Party To Go 2000)?? I was looking forward for MTV Party To Go 2001 but they havent make the album after 2000 :-(

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Albums of the Year, December 16, 1999
This review is from: MTV Party To Go 2000 (Audio CD)
It has a verity of music and it is what they would play at some clubs! It works great for partys and just hanging out! I think that it is the best one that Mtv has made! It has different people singing their hit songs like; Nsync, Backstreet boys, brittnay spears, amber and lots, lots more! I think that this si a great album for the new year!
