This is the story of a woman who marries beneath her, and comes to realize it too late. Some good dialogue, and Delicia really blasts the hypocrisy and double standards of her society in turning a blind eye to infidelity and boorish behavior by men, yet quickly crucifying a woman for doing far less. A good read!
