5.0 out of 5 stars Wholesome Entertainment for All
This movie was enjoyed byour family as well as many from our church family. It's nice to see a movie for kids where they don't sneak-in a few bad words (ie. s--t,h--l,d--n, etc.). There are so many kid movies that also just concentrate on having a good vs. evil theme. I'm not talking about good vs. bad. It seems like a lot of the films have down-right evil characters...

1.0 out of 5 stars WARNING Not Widescreen! No matter what you order.
Regardless of what you order, you get full screen, which really pisses me off. There is no excuse for only making a full screen DVD in the 21st Century!!!

It's nice to see that the chimpanzees have so much fun playing sports. They are so athletic. It's nice to know they are well cared for and loved.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most Vertical Primate, February 1, 2002
This review is from: MVP 2 - Most Vertical Primate (DVD)
This movie is the cutest childrens movie I have seen. My daughter is 6 yrs old and she giggles and laughs all the way through the movie everytime. She watches it over and over again. You can tell when they made the movie they wanted it to be very child friendly and that the chimps are having a great time in the making of the movie. MVP the first movie is wonderful to. It is great to see a children's movie that makes kids laugh all the way through.

There's nothing better than a skateboarding monkey! It's madcap, and it's clean so the kids can watch, too! It's better than Air Bud (that movie made me cry) and funnier than Nacho Chihuahua! Skateboarding monkey! Go! Go! Go!

I found this movie to be very entertaining and fun to watch. I loved watching the chimp skateboard. I have experience with working primates and you can tell that this Chimp is having a blast skateboarding. He obviously really enjoyed his task. It is impossible to force an animal to perform with that kind of enthusiasm. I would highly recommend this movie to all of my friends with kids.

My son loves this movie !! It is a movie about a chimp that can play ice hocky, and the part that my son loves, he can ride a skateboard. It must have been made in the late 90's or early 2000's because Ryan Sheckler is in it, and he is real young. It is a cute good wholesome movie, full of skateboarding and ice hocky. If your kids like those sports then they will love this movie !!

5.0 out of 5 stars Most vertical primate? More like most valuable piece of cinamatic history!, May 7, 2007
This review is from: MVP 2 - Most Vertical Primate (DVD)
Let me start off by saying that I was a little skeptical about this movie upon first sight. I was at a local video store and I couldn't bring myself to settle on any movies that they had, until I came across this gem. I then decided to spend my hard earned 2.99 on what I thought would be an "alright" movie for my friday night. Little did I know that I was in for a thrill ride of laughter upon laughter. This is the most hilarious movie that I have ever seen in my life. The movie stars a chimp named Jack who is a natural at skateboarding. After a conflict with local school bully "Ted", Jack enters himself in the schools most awesome skateboard competition to prove to Ted who's really the man. This movie had me laughing until my sides hurt. Jack is such an awesome actor! Not to mention an all-star cast of Jaimie Foxx as "the only one who believed in Jack", and Anthony Hopkins as Teds evil skateboard coach. My favorite part of the movie is when Jack mistakes a grenade for a pear and eats it, giving him some gnarly gas. What really suprised me about the movie is the scene where Jack (yes the chimp) actually lands a "kick flip" on his skateboard. It was the craziest thing I've seen since "Cannibal Halocaust". If you want to spend the night laughing then "BUY THIS MOVIE". Upon other movies I would recemmend "3 ninjas:High noon on mega mountain", or "Ernest Goes To Alcatraz".

4.0 out of 5 stars great family entertainment, February 1, 2002

My children could not wait for this movie. They practically wore out the first one and were thrilled when they heard that Jack the chimp had a new movie. The chimp is amazing - my husband and I had a great time watching with the kids. My kids can't sit through most films, even kid's films, but this one kept their interest the whole time.

A Kid's Review
My brother bought this movie and I thought it was going to be cheap and corny. I was wrong. I loved it. It seems like a movie where its going to take a long time to get to the point. Not really. Great movie, especially if you like skateboarding.
