mysterious paintings,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Mystery of the Shrinking House (Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators #18) (Paperback)
This book doesn't have a lot of action because the characters are mostly trying to figure out this convoluted case. However, it is a nice book to read if you like a good mystery. This book is great for young adults and adults. This book is about three investigators named jupe, Pete, and Bob. They are hired by the Countess to find her brother, Old Joshua Cameron's (an influential artist) belongings because he passed away. The belongings they must find are a stuffed owl, some old leather suitcase and his paintings of a house getting smaller and smaller. There is also an art dealer named De Groot who is following the Countess so he can get the paintings for himself. Can they solve the mystery of the paintings? Can they find out who Joshua Cameron is? Can they find out why De Groot is following the Countess? You can answer these questions when you read "The Mystery of the Shrinking House." |
