Powerful, Upbeat Blend of World Rythms, June 27, 2000
This review is from: MYTH (Audio CD)
My expecations were set very high for this musical release with all of the comparisons I had read of to Enigma and Deep Forest. Suprisingly I was disappointed to find this group did not sound a lot like Enigma or Deep Forest, but rather had an incredible sound of their own drawing on different world music styles. I felt this group was very sucessful, and this disk immediately became one of my favorites. If you don't believe me go to Napster and check out the music there, then buy this disk. 5 stars out of 5, 10 stars out of 10, you have to check this disk out.

Your wishes have been answered., October 17, 1999
This review is from: MYTH (Audio CD)
If you ever wised that Deep Forest and Enigma would release a CD together, well your wish as been answered. All most at least. The sound is so amazingly true to both Enigma's & Deep Forest's earlier work, while at the same time the music has evolved to newer sounds. From beginning to end this CD is pure pleasure to the ears. Lullaby has a sound that if unsuspected, one would swear it was Enigma and Deep Forest together. With Enigmatic drum patterns and chimes, and Deep Forest rhythems and vocals, this CD would not disappoint anyone. If you are looking for the sounds of the two groups earlier work, this is the CD for you. At times the music is even better than the original groups. This CD gets an A+

There's no Enigma meets Deep Forest fusion here!, April 9, 2000

Granted, the album is quite pleasent to listen to. It features nice ambient rhythms and soft tribal chants. But Enimga? No, not hardly. Enigma is more gothic and medievel sounding with harder beats and different instruments and vocals - this is nothing like their album "MCMXC.a.D." Yes, there is SOME comparission to Deep Forest but this is more ambient and etherial in sound. I like it better than much of Deep Forest, but not near as much as I like Enigma. I highley reccomend it if you like ambient world music. But I wouldn't reccomend buying it because you think it's going to be a cross between Enigma and Deep Forest because it isn't.
