In listening to her first number, a scene was revived from my old memory,,,I was sitting in a small bar in Harlem, NY. Players right in front of me performed, joining in and out, and made exciting sessions. Piano in the middle, base, drums, guitar, and various winds had each own vivid personality, yet not interrupting, made nice harmony among themselves, and played such wonderful jazz. Just like that! Hiroe did it so successfully !! |
