This has been a favorite of mine since it first was released. Sadly, I lost my copy (I suspect I left it in my old school computer when I was issued a new one-what an idiot I am!). If I could, I would travel to France just to buy a new copy-it is that wonderful. It is full of some of Moustaki's best songs and it is on my list of "anytime" albums. No matter what my mood, this is a go-to cd. I have had a crush on him since I studied in France in 1973 and he has only improved with age!

I own this, but with a different cover. Moustaki has a lot of hit compilations out there, and this happens to be one of my favorites.

Of course, since he has been singing for so many years, it is not comprehensive, but if you speak French, you can sing along, if not, hum along. His songs are of different styles, which to me make his albums very interesting to listen to. I own several of his albums on cassette, vinyl and cd, so I would consider myself a long term fan.
