Wah! will be appearing at an event at Yoga Now in Chicago, Illinois this year on July 17th 2010. As part of promotion for this event I was sent Wah!'s newest album release Maa to review.I decided to give it a whirl during last week's Monday night Power Yoga. I absolutely loved the Invocation it made the perfect backdrop for centering and grounding. This whole CD is perfect to take outside of the yoga class to listen and unwind to. Her music is definitely great for dancing, maybe even belly dance, it would be perfect for waking up your energy during a run, biking, in the car - anywhere. I have taken it with me everywhere and love it. It is quite a versatile CD that anyone can enjoy in fact Love Holding Love sounds mainstream enough to be heard on the radio and groovable enough for any soft pop or light rock lover not into yoga to appreciate.

I have long been a fan of Wah and the gifts of love and devotion that she brings to my meditation practice. This offering both relaxes and energizes. Her gentle spirit helps bring me closer the the mother goddess in the most joyfilled way. This is the next best thing to being with her in person.

Wah has a beautiful voice. The title is catchy. I took a chance buying this cd without listening to it first. I should have listened to it. It is soft pop jazz-esque and that is not my type of music. Also I'm not a fan of soft spoken word in a song. It really reminded me of Sade type music. I've tried to like it but....just not my thing.

This cd is a work of art. Wah! has the voice of an angel. I love the songs with the flute.
