Deep and wise book, wich gently temptates to step forward and teach how to do it safely. I find working according to Nema's Maat Magick effective and interesting. I highly recommend.

Nema's book reveals nature's truth to a waking mind & heart,
By A Customer
This review is from: Maat Magick: A Guide to Self-Initiation (Paperback)
Many have said that nature is truly the greatest teacher, and when the time for word and thought rests in the immortal essence of the moment, her lessons come to us and may speak to us and teach us the truths of our heart as we weave through the seeming complexity of day to day life and find ourselves back in the moment, as truth disolves all illusion and love teaches us all lessons. This is the message of the ancient egyptians as it is also the nature of NEMA's book to provey this message. Nema's book is about this truth and the search for inner vission as it reaches its refinement in our day and age. And we find, that between us, this truth is ultimately much less different than the centuries before us have led us to suspect...leading us to the realization that only love could allow such chaos to exist, and only will could bind such truth. As an introduction to the magickal arts, this book provides the neophyte with a mature, well though out and researched evolving view of a "magick," as a willed mind change, which can not be confined by "tradition" but which represents the culminating flower of human compassion.

Garbage,
By Sun Tui Diva "RealProgressMag.org" (International) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Maat Magick: A Guide to Self-Initiation (Paperback)
Satanic devil worship using Maat spirituality as a cover-up. Anyone who knows who Crowley is should know this. Gave it the benefit of the doubt at first due to the useful information of the 'Levels' 10-1. But once i went to the banishing and ritual section and saw that they want you to call forth Satan in the direction of the south I put the book on my porch and set it on fire. First time in my life I have burned a book and hopefully the last.
Real spiritualists and practitioners do not recognize satan; only positive and negative energy; both of which are a manifestation of God. If you are one who is interested in or a beginner of practicing magic or mysticism be very careful of the entities you call forth into your life. If you are not clear of the energies you are calling forth or welcoming it could be very detrimental to you and others around you. Unless you are a worshiper of satan and the like stay away from this book. Bad news. If you are an Egyptologist or an indigeneous centered spiritualist-this book will be of no use to you because this book has nothing to do with that-despite the beautiful photo of Maat on the cover-stay away and dont waste your money. |
