4.0 out of 5 stars Good First step towards Metu Neter, July 10, 2005
This review is from: Maat the 11 laws of God (Paperback)
I initially attempted to study Metu Neter, but I found reading this brief book was a better place to start in my journey to know self, from a Kamitic perspective. I have found that, like the bible, every time I read it, I discover new truths and wisdom. I have read it 3 or 4 times already and look forward to my next trip through it.

This wisdom within this book was most valuable in helping me realize the futility of my past failures to overcome life challenges .. and the simplicity involved in adopting effective solutions to life challenges.

I come from a christian background, and do not at this point in my journey agree with all aspects discussed. But, oh, what a giant step in my journey when I first began to see that no person, place, event, or thing ... no obect from the physical world ... could disturb by at-one-ness and peace ... as long as I chose to disallow it!

Hetep!

I would recommend everyone, especially people who are looking for spiritual answers as to why things are the way they are in the world, to read this book. Ra Un Nefer Amen does a fantastic job, again, to deliver even more insight into the Qabalistical Tree of Life and the true functions of our spirit. It's a truth seekers goldmine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Six Stars, July 4, 2006
This review is from: Maat the 11 laws of God (Paperback)
Although not as dense or vast as the Metu Neter, this book is actually much more accessible and follows in the same awe inspiring tradition of previous Amen works.

Remember this:the book's central concept-God/Nature's Eleven laws and urges-will eventually find way into every aspect of social activity, philosophy and policy. This book will ultimately be referenced worldwide and is destined to become a classic academic, philosophical and theological text for the ages. Simply extraordinary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Devastating, January 16, 2004

This review is from: Maat the 11 laws of God (Paperback)
In keeping with the tradition established with the Metu Neter Vols 1 and 2, the author delivers both devastating insight and clear instruction on how to make use of it in our lives. Six stars would not suffice. Simply a must for every home library.

Once again, the author provides a clear and logical approach to the cosmological truths. This book bypasses rhetoric and proves to be a truly scientific work. 5 stars is not enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars Commandments vs Laws, August 18, 2011
This review is from: Maat the 11 laws of God (Paperback)
Ra Un Nefer Amen gives us in Volume 4 of Metu Neter a concise and enlightening glimpse into the difference between a commandment and a law. Commandments can in some cases be arbitrary, subject to interpretation and judicial opinion. A command must be accompanied by some sort of penalty, which may also have an arbitrariness attached to it. So a violation may go unnoticed while another instance of the same crime is answered by incarceration, brutality, etc. If you are not one who is easily intimidated, and if you are able to outwit the constabulary, you may find that you have escaped.

Laws, on the other hand, no one escapes. Water boils at 112 degrees and freezes at 32 - not 33. By observing nature we see that there is an interdependent web of such immutable laws that has existed since before creation that governs the behavior of all energy and matter in the universe. The reason the laws that govern the spirit in man have not been made widely known is that the spirit itself has never been properly understood in the religions and psychology of the West. The question of what is the nature of the spirit is the theme of all five volumes of Metu Neter. For answers, the author shares his extraordinary insights into the cultures and civilizations of African antiquity. It doesn't take long for the reader to see that it is not the pyramids and other artifacts of the past that were Kamit's true glory, but rather a day-to-day way of life that gave rise to thousands of years of peace and prosperity. Today, It is a way of life that has been adopted by many seeking improvement in finances, relationships, health, career, and spirituality.

The shortest volume, "Maat, the 11 Laws of God" goes beyond any other book to explain in an easy to read format the make-up of the spirit, and to show how success in all areas of life is the inevitable outcome of incorporating the ll laws that govern life into the mind. The mind of man can be and should be aligned with the mind of God. Hoping and "faith" are replaced by knowing, as certainly as we know that water placed in a refrigerator will not boil, no matter how fervently we wish it to do so.
